Biography of Monk Bhante Win

At the age of 7, he ordained as a novice monk for the first time at Wat Rassadatrathatam, Mueang District, Pathum Thani Province.

He continued to ordain as a novice monk every summer break at Wat Sanghatan, Nonthaburi, Wat Srikhet Nantharam, Nonthaburi, and Wat Nong Prong, Pathum Thani.

Education & Early Career

• 1997 (B.E. 2540): Ordained as a monk for the first time during school break for 15 days at Wat Buakhwan, Lat Lum Kaeo, Pathum Thani.

• 1999 (B.E. 2542): Earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi.

• 1999 (B.E. 2542): Worked as a computer engineer, specializing in Oracle database development at Tricomp Co., Ltd.

Monastic Journey

• 2007 (B.E. 2550): Ordained as a monk at Wat Sanghatan, Nonthaburi, and spent his first rains retreat at Wat Pa Cha Bung Malang (a branch of Wat Sanghatan) in Ubon Ratchathani.

• 2010 (B.E. 2553): Left from Wat Sanghatan and later re-ordained at Wat Phra Dhammakaya.

Dhamma Dissemination & Leadership

• 2020 (B.E. 2563): During the COVID-19 pandemic, he started sharing Dhamma teachings online via Clubhouse, producing video content on YouTube and TikTok. His TikTok account gained over 300,000 followers, with millions of views.

• 2024 (B.E. 2567): Transferred to Wat Pa Raksa Jai, Muak Lek District, Saraburi Province, to assist Kruba Chaiwat in his Dhamma dissemination work. He was appointed as the Chairman of the Kruba Chaiwat Foundation for Peace.
