Biography of Kruba Chaiwat
Kruba Chaiwat Akkachayo is a new-generation spiritual teacher who effectively utilizes social media and digital communication tools to spread the Dhamma. Together with his team of devoted disciples, he has created a vast collection of online Dhamma content, including posts, videos, and live teachings across multiple platforms. Within just 2-3 years, his teachings have reached hundreds of thousands—if not millions—of people, inspiring many to set the ultimate Buddhist aspiration: to attain their final human rebirth.
Due to his influence, numerous individuals have ordained as monks and nuns at Wat Pa Raksa Jai, where he serves as the Abbot. In just one year, the monastery has welcomed dozens of new monastics.
As a child, Kruba Chaiwat ordained as a novice monk and once considered lifelong ordination. However, his teachers and mother persuaded him to disrobe and pursue secular education.
He later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Phayao, affiliated with Chiang Mai University, in 2007 (B.E. 2550). He worked as a professional nurse for five years, practicing and studying Dhamma alongside his career.
After leaving his nursing career, he became a medical sales representative for a leading global company. His exceptional performance led him to become a top salesperson and later a business executive, eventually founding his own company.
2011 (B.E. 2554): Ordained as a monk for a short period before marriage.
2018 (B.E. 2561): Resigned from his career after realizing deeper truths about life. Unable to continue working in the secular world, he transitioned into a spiritual healer and karma-based fortune teller. He also practiced alternative medicine, treating physical and mental illnesses that conventional medicine could not cure. His methods included bone-setting therapy and assisting thousands of patients. Additionally, he engaged in charitable giving and helped people who believed their relatives were possessed by spirits.
2022 (B.E. 2565): He met Luang Ta Sinsap Charanadhammo, a revered teacher who encouraged him to ordain as a monk to facilitate wider Dhamma dissemination.
March 19, 2023 (B.E. 2566): He ordained as a monk, dedicating his life to spreading the teachings of the Buddha and helping those in suffering.
His mission, as revealed in a meditative vision from the First Buddha, consists of two responsibilities:
To help those in distress and hardship.
To teach Dhamma to both humans and non-human beings.
From his days as a lay Dhamma teacher to his monastic life, Kruba Chaiwat has remained committed to these two guiding principles.
Donated essentials to over 3,000 households, including 10 tons of rice.
Contributed 400,000 THB to build a football field for Ban Nong Maka School.
Expanded Dhamma teachings both in Thailand and internationally through retreats, meditation courses, and online platforms.
His online Dhamma videos have gained millions of views across various social media channels.
Dozens of monks and nuns have ordained under his guidance.
